This article dives deeper into the Step 1 of the general article about filters.
In BlueBoard, it is possible to narrow down your view to a custom list of products. Maybe you are in charge of only a specific range of products. Or only a handful of SKUs are distributed in the country that you work on.
In any case, the goal is to temporarily or permanently display a subsection of all the products of your dashboard.
STEP 1: Select Filter By Products in the top-right corner. A list of attributes appear. Attributes are product characteristics such as size, range, color, capacity, SKU, type etc. They are defined at the company level.
STEP 2: For one or more attributes, select a value from the drop-down list. You can select more than one value in each attribute.
Ex: if you fill in the filter this way
- Brand: Bose, Beats by Dr. Dre
- Form Factor: In-Ear
You will see all in-ear products from Bose and Beats by Dr. Dre.
If the products you are interested in have nothing in common, you can also type in the SKUs one by one.
STEP 3: Press APPLY. After a brief moment, the list of product displays. The Overview (the donuts) and the Alerts Live Stream are updated to reflect the selection of products.
To have BlueBoard memorize the group of products, save it as a custom group.
